Aprašymas: I. Men of Sixth Army board a troop train at a station. Others march along roads to the battlefield, between Noyon and Amiens. Conditions are very foggy. Soldiers rest as a horsed transport column passes by. A further column, including lorries towing 155mm howitzers and 155mm Schneider guns. One of the 155mm Schneiders is deployed and opens fire. Shells are loaded into lorries from a dump. Traffic congestion in the rear area villages as troops move up. White armoured cars, probably from 1st Cavalry Division, wait by the roadside. Men of British Fifth Army, (III Corps under French command ?) wait in the rear areas. British horsed transport moves down the Amiens-Montdidier road, close to Moreuil. British horsemen, probably 3rd Cavalry Division, prepare to return to action - two of their observers spy from a corn rick, then the men go forward dismounted across a ridgeline. Refugees leave for safety with their property in bullock carts and horse-drawn carriages. As the French troops press forward they meet German prisoners taken at Plessis-de-Roye, escorted by dragoons to the rear. II. A caption quotes General Pershing's declaration, which appeared in French papers on 29th March, of his willingness to place his forces at French disposal. US troops, possibly 26th (Yankee) Division near Soissons, move forward in marching column to take over parts of the French line.
